  • Alexey Maslov
Alexey Maslov “We value the stability of Russia-China relations. The one word I can use to describe our relationship is 'trust.' That's very important because if you look at the cooperation with the Western countries, we don't have, and we have never had, mutual trust. But with China, we have a mutual trust. Our cooperation during the last two years developed very fast. The two countries could deepen cooperation in finance and banking, as well as in sci-tech and investment.” 6 hours ago
  • Cui Heng
Cui Heng “The world will pay attention to the meeting between the top leaders of the two countries to see how China-Russia relations can be promoted to a new height, as strategic ties between the two major powers will greatly affect the international arena.” 6 hours ago
  • Dmitry Peskov
Dmitry Peskov “We see an unveiled intervention in the internal affairs of Georgia from the outside. This is an internal matter of Georgia. We do not want to interfere there in any way.” 6 hours ago
  • Charles Michel
Charles Michel “If they want to join the EU, they have to respect the fundamental principles of the rule of law and the democratic principles.” 6 hours ago
  • Antony Blinken
Antony Blinken “Under our own ten-year agreement, the United States will support the defence and security across a range of essential capabilities - from its air force to its air defence, from drones to demining. If Russia or anyone else were to attack Ukraine, we will work with Ukraine immediately at the highest levels to coordinate how to help you beat back the threat.” 10 hours ago
  • Aleksey Kushch
Aleksey Kushch “This is an unexpected, but, unfortunately for Ukraine, a very effective move. Unlike many top Russian officials, Belousov has not been involved in corruption scandals and has a reputation as a workaholic technocrat and a devout Orthodox Christian. Putin wants him to clean the Augean stables of the defence ministry so that military spending spearheads the resurgence of Russia's economy. The effectiveness of Russia's military-industrial complex will be boosted, and instead of being a 'black hole' of budget spendings, the defence ministry may become a driver of economic growth, when war spendings stimulate the growth of Russia's GDP.” 13 hours ago

“Vulin's statements look like a not-so-washed-up version of the policy of Greater Serbia on the borders of Karlovac – Karlobag – Virovitica, which was propagated in the 1990s by Vojislav Šešelj, political father of the current President of Serbia. We all know what misfortune this politics brought to peoples of Yugoslavia, including the Serbs, so it is normal that such statements by the Minister of the Interior cause unrest among Serbia's neighbours in the region, but also strengthen nationalists in their ranks. Vulin fits perfectly into the role of a political chameleon, who went from the conceited Che Guevara, a member of the Yugoslav United Left led by the wife of dictator Slobodan Milošević, to his current version of a Serbia nationalist particularly fascinated by uniforms. The phrase 'Serbian World' is used as a counter-argument by some in the opposition, who accuse SNS [Serbian Progressive Party] and Serbian President Vučić of being ready for a compromise, according to which Serbia will, on one way or another, accept Kosovo's independence.”
